Back at the Merchant Pub on University today with the Vertex people! Today’s project was focused on City Hall and the popular Toronto sign. We had 10 participants but did a project for 12 just to round off a nice equal square of 3×4 canvases.
The people at Straticom were a great team to have over to our downtown location. Each member really put themselves into the work despite the early protests that they hadn’t held a brush since childhood. The work went up on the office wall just recently and we think it looks great!
Thanks Art Factory for one of our most successful summer staff events yet!Kourtney R, The Straticom Team.
This was the second time the BDC chose to work with us. This time it was for a group of over 60 people held at the Westin Prince Hotel here in Toronto. Our team of three assistants and one instructor led the group to create 8 different collaborative murals that now hang at BDC locations across central Ontario including North York, Markham, Peterborough and Durham region.
Everybody had a great time. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to do something different. We have the art work hanging in our offices now and everyone knows they contributed to something bigger then themselves and they get to keep that memory forever. Thank you Art Factory!Tonina, Guido, BDC Management
The TMX group runs the Toronto Stock Exchange so we knew we were dealing with very type A personalities. Plus there were 80 participants! This was a challenge of an event to pull off. Instead of doing a single project, teams were made and 4 separate paintings were produced with 40 unique canvases!
Highly recommend using Art Factory for a team building event!Julia Morante, TMX Group HR
This event focused on giving back to the Humber student volunteers with a special event that offered the opportunity for each student to take home something to remember their time as part of the college’s orientation committee.
Our team really enjoyed this events. We liked that you have thought about all aspects of the event and had all necessary materials and equipment. It was very easy to follow your steps and do the painting even though lots of people didn`t have any experience in painting. We also liked that by the end of the event everyone got the vibe and created their own little masterpieces. Regina Rishatovna Valiakhmetova , Orientation Co-chair Humber College
The Business Development Bank of Canada hired the Art Factory to both entertain and give their co-workers a boost of creativity between meetings at their annual conference. We were asked to combine both our team building project and our individual project plans and create a hybrid where instead of one large work, a half dozen smaller paintings ( 20”x 64”) were finished; each for a different provincial office.
The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) recently did a lunch time art project with Eric Budovitch and his team at the Art Factory as a teambuilding exercise for about 70 of our professional employees. The goal of the project was to break up the full day conference with an exercise that got people moving, creating, talking, collaborating and trusting each other in a fun relaxed atmosphere. The team canvases we made did just that. Feedback via a survey after the conference was that an overwhelming number of employees truly enjoyed the project. The bonus to this project, unlike other team exercises, is we now have several finished pieces of art to display in our offices. His team was professional, articulate in explaining the project, and was well prepared with all the supplies required.
Overall a great teambuilding project that I would highly recommend for any size group.SUSAN ROHAC SENIOR VICE-PRESIDENT, ONTARIO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT BANK OF CANADA
Our primary concern with this event was being certain to choose an inspiring image that complemented the conferences’ theme for growth and diversity. The team at Ricoh choose a soaring tree lined canopy as their new office addition.
The final piece was installed in a high traffic area of the office and has been repeatedly remarked upon since as a welcome relief to the largely monotonous colour scheme of the office ( and works well with the bright red Ricoh logo too!).
The painting workshop for our team offsite was a great success. It was well organized and set up. With guidance and support, we were able to be creative and work together as a team to put together a piece of art that we are all proud of and is a great memento of our time spent together.

Once a year this arm of Merk Pharmaceutical holds a conference to inform and update the highest level VPs. This this the event was held at the Thompson Hotel and made for quite a setting!
Choosing to have a custom designed project based on the company’s logo and theme of “breaking out” the group created two works; one with 6 large canvases and another with 9. Today the pieces hang in the hallway and boardroom reminding the professionals both of the importance of team work and perhaps even a note on decor!
Mary’s Big Birthday
We can’t think of anything to say beyond what Mary has so graciously stated.
A little further than we normally travel but Google showed us the way and once we arrived the set up was quick and easy.
The event was held in some beautiful surroundings and with great weather we were able to have the activity under a tree in the backyard!
“Would I recommend the Art Factory? In a Heartbeat ! Although they specialize in Corporate Team Building Events, they were more than willing to cater to our needs by coming to our Private Celebration. The event was amazing and all 14 of us had a wonderful time. Our event was in Caledon East and he drove that hour from Toronto, showed up on time and provided everything we needed. All we had to bring was our will to put our brush to the canvas. Even though we went well beyond your 2 hour time slot he went above and beyond and helped us all individually by putting the final touches to our masterpieces! “Mary Douglas, Caledon, ON
Bachelorette Event in the Party Room!
An inspiring settings at the top of a condo downtown, this bachelorette party went off without a hitch. A surprise choice for the lady of honour where her friends all participated in something they knew she would enjoy. Great to be a part of such a fun filled and energetic crew!
Community Mural for Fire Dept.
This was a public event held at one of 2014’s last Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington Market. A community effort and in collaboration with Print Gallery this large work was installed as a mural at the College St Fire Department and is a representation of the old clock tower with still acts as a landmark for everyone in the neighbourhood and the city over.
Marta’s “Just Because” Party
You don’t need a special reason to have a party with friends. Marta contacted the Art Factory just because she knew she had the time to bring everyone together for a fun night in the amenities room at her place. Although we’re happy to contact venues for you, we’re equally pleased to come to you for a fun night in!
